This lucite stool is built around ribbon-like clear acrylic legs that cross at the base, a sculptural structural detail as much as a functional one, topped with a padded round seat in the original white vinyl. It still carries its original manufacturer's label from Karmel Plastics of Connecticut, dating it to the 1970s and confirming its authenticity rather than a later reproduction. Original condition, unaltered, with some imperfections consistent with genuine age and use. Its clear acrylic legs make it visually light even up close to other furniture, a useful pull-up seat that doesn't compete for space.
