Terracotta Mosaic Vases [VINTAGE]
This lidded jar is covered in a mosaic of terracotta and stone tiles, each one individually set by hand into a pattern that varies across the surface. Its original wood and metal lid still has a working locking mechanism, a functional detail as much as a decorative one that confirms the piece's full vintage construction. Good vintage condition, with mosaic surfaces intact showing minor chips and uneven grout consistent with age and hand-applied work, and metal hinges and chains carrying surface rust and patina while remaining fully functional, with no cracks to the body. Currently available in the small size, sourced from the shop's Phoenix finds.
