Brutalist Seagull Sculpture [VINTAGE]
This bird-in-flight sculpture layers brass, copper, and bronze into articulated metal elements that suggest feathers and real motion, the mixed metals developing varied tones and natural patina against each other. The bold, textural style is closely associated with Curtis Jere's Brutalist metalwork from the same era. Good vintage condition, with a well-developed patina, minor surface wear, and light oxidation across the mixed metals, all of which deepens the Brutalist character rather than detracting from it. At seventeen inches wide, it works well mounted on a wall as a sculptural focal point in an entry or living space.
