Bryce Serving Bowl

Muubs makes this lidded serving bowl from handmade terracotta, finished with a raw, unglazed surface that reads as rustic rather than refined. The lid keeps food warm at the table, though the bowl works just as well without it for a looser, more casual presentation. Unlike most ceramic serving pieces, it's rated for direct use on a gas burner as well as the oven, making it as functional for cooking as it is for serving. Offered in small and medium, both ask for the same oil-seasoning care as any unglazed terracotta before regular use.

Product information

Terracotta is Italian and means "burnt clay". Creating terracotta products is an old tradition in which the raw materials of nature are formed into functional products. Terracotta are non-glazed pottery which is burned at low temperature.
We recommend that the terracotta gets used to high temperatures slowly to protect the pottery in the best way. If the Pottery goes from cold to hot temperatures quickly the pottery may get damaged. Therefore make sure to slowly heat the pottery when cooking.
