Foss Creek Raku Vase [VINTAGE]
This Foss Creek raku vase carries the rich metallic sheen and crackle glaze characteristic of traditional raku firing, where rapid cooling and smoke exposure create patterns no two pieces repeat. The resulting surface mixes smoke patterns with an earthy, modern palette that reads as both ancient technique and contemporary object. Very good vintage condition, with natural glaze variation, pooling, and kiln effects typical of studio pottery, plus minor surface wear consistent with age. No cracks or repairs, structurally sound and ready for display. At eight inches tall, it's a compelling standalone piece for a shelf or console.
