Metal Head Sculpture [VINTAGE]
This bronze sculpture renders a male head in fragmented, broken-apart form, mounted on a marble stand that grounds the piece both literally and visually. The fragmentation is the whole idea here, classical portrait sculpture pulled apart into abstracted planes that read as contemporary rather than historical. Vintage condition, with the kind of surface character that develops naturally on cast bronze over time. At nearly twenty inches tall, it has enough presence to work as a genuine collectible accent on a mantel, shelf, or desk, interesting from multiple angles as the fragmented planes catch light differently.
