"Rubber Boa" Ceramic Sculpture
This ceramic sculpture takes the form of a rubber boa, its long, coiled body rendered with enough surface texture and subtle color shift to read as genuinely snake-like rather than cartoonish. Signed by the artist, it brings a bit of whimsical, slightly unexpected character to a room that a conventional decorative object would not. Vintage condition consistent with its age. At twenty inches long and under two inches tall, it works well laid flat along a console, mantel, or shelf, curling naturally into whatever space it is given rather than needing a dedicated spot.
