Salt Glaze Crock [VINTAGE]
This salt-glazed stoneware crock carries the tall, cylindrical form once used for storing and preserving food, its rustic brown finish and subtle surface variations the direct result of the salt-glazing process rather than an applied color. Sourced from the shop's Phoenix finds, it's the kind of utilitarian piece whose original purpose still reads clearly in its sturdy proportions. Vintage condition, with light wear to the rim and minor glaze irregularities and surface marks consistent with age, and no cracks or repairs. At ten inches tall, it works equally well holding dried branches or standing on its own as a grounding, farmhouse-leaning accent.
