Carol and Josh hand-throw this conical bowl with a deep-carved pattern wrapping the exterior, reminiscent of woven fibers or basketry worked directly into the clay rather than printed on. A rich, glossy brown glaze pools warmly into the carved grooves, adding tactile depth without overwhelming the form. Its compact, flared silhouette makes it equally suited to tea, small sauces, or display alone. The carved surface and glaze are well preserved, showing only light, age-appropriate wear; no chips, cracks, or repairs are visible, and the form remains solid and intact.
