Tarahumara Rarámuri Olla Pottery Vessel [VINTAGE]
This olla vessel is hand-formed from natural clay in the traditional style of the Tarahumara, or Rarámuri, people of northern Mexico, its rounded body accented with rawhide ties that double as both structural detail and decoration. Sourced from the shop's Phoenix finds, it reflects a pottery tradition passed down through generations rather than a contemporary studio reinterpretation, with unique variations in texture, finish, and form that mark it as genuinely handmade. Very good vintage condition, structurally sound with minor surface wear, patina, and natural variations consistent with age and hand-crafted work. Currently available in the large size, it holds real floor or shelf presence as a standalone vessel.
